The district invited to an event at the air base on Friday, March 10, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. to introduce the app - in particular to a young audience. For the first time, this event offered the opportunity to experience the app of the digital place of remembrance directly on site, which makes it possible to convey the events even more impressively.

With its own website and an interactive app, the district of Fürstenfeldbruck has created a digital place of remembrance that illustrates the events of 5September 1972 in detail. The digital place of remembrance focuses on the memory of the twelve victims and at the same time offers the possibility to get an overview of the events and the place where the attack came to its tragic end.

On 5 September 2022, the 50th anniversary of the 1972 Olympic Attack, the digital place of remembrance of the Fürstenfeldbruck District will go online. It consists of a website (www.erinnerungsort-fuerstenfeldbruck1972.de) and the app "Erinnerungsort 72" (available for download from Google Play Store and App Store).
