Film-documentary evening to commemorate the assassination attempt on the 1972 Olympic Games

September 5, 2024 marks the 52nd anniversary of the 1972 Olympic bombing.

As part of this year's commemoration, the Fürstenfeldbruck District Office is organizing a film evening on 3 September 2024 at the Lichtspielhaus (Maisacher Str. 7, 82256 Fürstenfeldbruck).

Starting at 6 p.m., the digital place of remembrance, which has been in existence for around two years, will be presented in the cinema.
In the form of a website and an app, the digital place of remembrance provides comprehensive information about the 1972 Olympic bombing, which came to a tragic end at Fürstenfeldbruck airbase.

A specially produced introductory video will be shown in the movie theater that evening.
Afterwards, the moving documentary "After Munich" (2019, 52 minutes, German version) will be shown in the cinema.
Admission is free.
