Purposes and legal bases for the processing of personal data
The purpose of the processing is to fulfill the public tasks assigned to us by law, in particular to inform the public.
Unless otherwise stated, the legal basis for the processing of your data is Article 4 (1) of the Bavarian Data Protection Act (BayDSG) in conjunction with Article 6 (1) (1) (a) of the General Data Protection Regulation (DSGVO). The purpose of the processing is to inform the public in connection with the 1972 Olympic assassination.

This website is hosted by Hetzner Online GmbH (Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany). The servers are located exclusively in German data centres (Falkenstein and Nuremberg). A data processing agreement (DPA) pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR has been concluded with Hetzner.
Technical support, maintenance and further development of the website are carried out by NX7.AGENCY (Tobias Steffen, Nikolaistraße 28-32, 04109 Leipzig) as a processor pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR. NX7.AGENCY only has access to technical systems and server logs within the scope of the contractually agreed activities. A data processing agreement is in place.

If necessary, your data will be transmitted to the competent supervisory and auditing authorities for the exercise of the respective control rights.
In the event of electronic transmission, data may be forwarded to the State Office for Information Security in order to avert threats to information technology security and processed there on the basis of Art. 12 et seq. of the Bavarian E-Government Act.
Web analytics (Plausible Analytics)
To evaluate the use of this website statistically, we use Plausible Analytics. It runs on a server of our service provider NX7 Agency (Tobias Steffen) within the European Union. Plausible does not use cookies and does not store personal data: your IP address is not stored but only used to derive a daily changing, non-reversible identifier. We record the pages visited, the referring website, browser type, device type and approximate country of origin. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (e) GDPR in conjunction with Art. 4 (1) BayDSG. Consent under Section 25 TDDDG is not required, as no information is stored on or read from your device.
Duration of the storage of personal data
Your data will only be stored for as long as is necessary for the fulfillment of tasks, taking into account statutory retention periods.
Your rights
Insofar as we process personal data from you, you are entitled to the following rights as a data subject in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR):
You can request information as to whether and, if applicable, which of your personal data we process and receive further information related to the processing (Art. 15 DSGVO). Please note that this right to information may be restricted or excluded in certain cases.
If inaccurate personal data is processed, you have a right to rectification (Art. 16 DSGVO).
If the legal requirements are met, you may request the erasure of your personal data or the restriction of its processing (Art. 17 and 18 GDPR). However, the right to erasure under Article 17(1) and (2) of the GDPR does not apply, inter alia, if the processing of personal data is necessary for the performance of a task carried out in the public interest or in the exercise of official authority (Article 17(3)(b) of the GDPR).
If the processing is carried out for the performance of a public task (Article 6(1), first subparagraph, point (e) of the GDPR), you have the right to object to the processing of your data at any time on grounds relating to your particular situation (Article 21(1), first sentence, of the GDPR).
If you exercise your rights, we will check whether the legal requirements for this are met.
Further restrictions, modifications and, where applicable, exclusions of the aforementioned rights may result from the General Data Protection Regulation or national legislation.

B) Information about the Internet presence
Logging
When you access this or other Internet pages, you transmit data to our web server via your Internet browser. The following data is recorded during an ongoing connection for communication between your Internet browser and our web server:
- date and time of the request
- name of the requested file
- page from which the file was requested
- access status (file transferred, file not found, etc.)
- web browser and operating system used
- full IP address of the requesting computer
- amount of data transferred.
After the end of the connection, the data is anonymized by shortening the IP address at domain level, so that it is no longer possible to establish a reference to individual users.

We use active components such as Javascript, Java applets or Active-X controls. This function can be switched off by you through the setting of your internet browser.
